People and pets
A plan for each child, each animal and each older relative in the move, with a date and a note beside each step. Seeded from the household you described in setup.
Essential if children, pets or an older relative are in the move; skip it otherwise. Children, pets and older relatives explains each step.
Plan for each person and animal
One row per step, grouped by who it is for. Setup adds the steps for the household you described; delete any that do not apply and add your own.
How to use this sheet
- One row per step, grouped by who it is for. Setup adds the usual steps for the household you described; delete what does not fit.
- Date the rules you read. Pet entry rules change, so write the date you read the destination state's page beside that step.
- Moving-day rows go on the run sheet too. Who has the children and the pets belongs on the moving-day sheet as well as here.
The example rows are the Brandts' (fictional): telling Mia and Leo, with Leo's crib kept as a crib until after the move; reading the destination state's dog entry rules for Biscuit; and Biscuit with a friend on loading day, as in their moving-day plan.
The plan lists steps; it is not medical, veterinary or psychological advice. Pet entry rules are the destination state's and change; the state's page settles them. Decisions about a relative's care setting and family property are the family's.
